Polo, but on bikes, not horses.
This fast-paced game is played by two teams of three who ride bicycles and use mallets to hit a ball into a net. Calgary Bike Polo plays every Wednesday at the Banff Trail Community Association from 6:30 - 10 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join.
Who we are
Since 2004, Calgary Bike Polo has been dedicated to providing a fun, safe and inclusive space for polo players of all skill levels.
We are connectors in and around Calgary’s cycling community, with roots in all quadrants. We are advocates for equality and diversity and warmly welcome newcomers regardless of skin colour, gender or ability. We work together to provide regular games, tournaments and social events because we are a team. We collaborate with community leaders and local organizations to always push bike polo forward, to provide fun safe spaces to play and to promote bike polo as a sport open to everyone.
